Regarding the item that gives +3 projectiles and -85% dmg, it's insane but you want the epic and legendary upgrades those are +3 -25 and +3 -0, but the rare upgrade is also good at +3 -50 as long as you can compensate the missing damage.Īll my succesful runs have been spamming the screen with circle saw or weirds and it saves me a teleport or piercing slot on bosses and some stages and vs bosses they barely make it over the finish line. I just play and reset until I have a run where the level 5 boss dies and I have had some luck with +dmg/+projectiles otherwise the run will just strand at level 26~ Making sure you manipulate this and taking HUGE risks gambling your best items in the desired slots hoping to get more is how the best runs are bread. It seems that early game 1-4 losing your safety increases loot and on mission 5 killing the boss gives 8 loot and if you can't kill it you only get 1. You also need to be lucky with your (un)desired slot discoveries and the start rng. All you need to do is fill the screen with projectiles that freeze and pushback and deal tons of damage so it's all about having like 6~ projectiles, as much +dmg as you can get, 1 good freeze and knockback, 1 good main projectile and then bounce/pierce depending on your main projectile.
